As winter is fast approaching Perth, and bikini’s disappear and woolly blankets and stylish jacket come out. Not only do we need to change our clothes to suit the weather, A change in skincare is also needed.
In winter my skin becomes dry and dull and now I have stubbled across a product that can help me skin become radiant and glow! It’s the L’Oréal Paris Sugar Glow Scrub which help brighten and give a radiant boost to the skin. This scrub is made up of 3 different fine sugars and grape seed oil.

“100% Naturally sourced exfoliants gentle texture – suitable for face and lips”
~L’Oréal Paris Product Box
Cost
This scrub retails for $20 Australian Dollars and can be purchased at Priceline, Woolworths and addition Pharmacy’s
Packaging
This facial sugar scrub comes in a glass jar with a screw off plastic lid. The glass jar is quite thick and holds 50ml of product. The packaging is nice and simple with the directions on the back of the product. I wouldn’t call it hygienic though as all the product is exposed when opened and it didn’t come with a spoon or scoop.
Texture and Smell
The name of the product ‘Sugar Scrub’ is pretty much the texture you get. The product is grainy because of the fine sugar to act as the exfoliants. It is a little sticky, but as it comes in contact with my face, it just melts from the warmth of the skin and can easily be moved around the face and lips. The smell! Oh My! Amazing! It has a sweet smell sort of like a cough lolly. I find it very pleasant and makes me want to eat the product.
Performance
I only use about a teaspoon per application of the product to apply and cover my face. In circular motions, while scrubbing, I didn’t feeling it scratching my face like some scrubs do, it was quite gentle especially when the sugar melts from the warmth of my face. Once all the product was melted into my face, I just washed off with warm water and patted dry my face. Instantly my skin was so smooth and soft like a babies bottom. Over the past week, I’ve used it 3 times and my face has gotten a little brighter.
Overall Thoughts
I will definitely be purchasing more from this range. I really liked how the sugar melted on my face and how nice it made my skin feel.

This reminds me of the sugar scrub by Fresh but theirs is a body scrub and it is very expensive! I would definitely like to try this out and see how it compares to the scrub by Fresh. Thanks for sharing this review 🙂
